the viewers tuning in every week. The drama serial, Chashman, is
among the popular drama with the viewers. Chashman is beautiful
play that has been written by Dennis Isaac and directed by Nadeem
Baig. It has been reported that the total budget of the drama was
6 million Rs. and it has been spend well to present the play. The
beautiful locations, theme music, and unbelievable performance by
the cast enthrall the audiences into tuning back each week.

Chashman
story revolves around none else than Chashman played the magnificent
and enchanting actress Farah Shah. Chashman is a very innocent and
a frighten girl who is brought by her godmother Ma Gul (Naveed Shehzad)
after her parents died in the accident. Ma Gul is a powerful female
who is in charge of her local area, and is a mother of two sons.
ne of her son, Shah Noor (Afhsan Khan) derelict as child, was send
to England where he started his hotel business. Shah Gul (Asad)
as being the older son, he carries the entire burden that his family

is Zarak (Ajab Gul) and Meerab (Zeb Choudary). Zarak is a misanthrope
person, and he has negative views toward Ma Gul family, after his
father was not given the proper title to be the family’s secretary.
Meerab, on the contrary, is fond of the Ma Gul’s and is in
love Shah Noor.
Chashman
is splendid play; however, story progresses very slowly. The solution
to many dramas’s puzzlement is there in a plain view, and
Chashman is no different. After coming back from England, Shah Noor
instantly falls in love with Chashman, although it has been decided
by Ma Gul that she will marry Shah Gul. hashman is in love with
Shah Gul; however, being diffident, she cannot express her feelings
to him. The play creates suspense as who will Shah Noor chooses
to marry; however, it is an overt suspense as he carries Chashman
pictures everywhere with him.

Gul becomes distraught, as she cannot comprehend on who rightly deserves
to marry Chashman. The twist that took place in the episode eight
keeps the audience guessing as whom will Chashman marry? |
Chashman
is overall a wonderful drama that has suspense and the viewers are
given hints throughout the play on some matters that will play an
important role in the up coming episode. It is essential to say that
the play is progresses very slowly, which can bore the audience at
one point. The cast has done a marvelous job with their roles. There
is nothing more to say, but praise Farah Shah for her acting, who
plays an innocent quiet spoken girl and at times one wonders this
is the same actress that is playing the loud mouth Zohra in the drama
serial Landa Bazar. Naveed Shehzad has done a beautiful job by playing
the role of Ma Gul. Asad playing the role of Shah Gul has done justice
with his performance. As for Afsan Khan, he has done a very nice job
by playing a playful Shah Noor.
