The magic girl of the film industry and the heartthrob of many,
Noor has decided to make the difference this time in the production
field. So, she has pulled up her socks to risk some money and carve
a niche for herself in the field. The telefilm, titled 'Jaan Des
Mein Dil Perdes Mein' is going to be the first project by an 'in'
heroine of Lollywood. The telefilm is to be directed by none other
than Noor's father Sheraz who has himself remained associated with
the film industry for quite some time.
What makes this telefilm 'different' is the fact that, unlike other
films made so far, this film is going to be picturised on location
in Dubai, Germany and France. The main cast includes Ahsan Khan,
Gulab Chandio, and of course, Noor herself. Sheraz, while talking
to showbiz.com.pk, said that the script is almost ready and now
they are handling the visa-related problems. When asked about the
storyline, he hesitated to disclose further details, saying that
it was a bit early to talk about them.
He said that the title itself suggested that the story was something
different. The film has two songs in it, one is a duet by Nusrat
Fateh Ali and (late) Madam Noor Jehan, 'Meri zindagi tera pyar,'
and the other will be recorded by Ibrar-ul-Haq. Ahson Khan, with
his boy-next-door looks, will be paired with Noor in the telefilm.
While talking to showbiz.com.pk Noor said, with an apparent tone
of confidence, that her latest venture was going to be a success,
as it was a teamwork and all the efforts were going into making
it a beautiful work. Answering to a query about the tussles that
always seemed to be going on among the heroines, she said that there
was some exaggeration in that and said that she was 'the' actress
who had entered the film industry on merit and never believed in
safarish, let alone think of it.
She said, and rightly so, that she had made use of her latent talents
by dint of her hardwork in her commitment. To a question, she said
that she had great expectations from her role in the film, Daku.
She dispelled the impression that her scenes had been cut from the
film 'Kurfew Order' by Masood Butt, and added that there is no veracity
in the news that Reema was behind all the gossip. The telefilm is
expected to be completed by March next year and according to Sheraz,
they are all set to show it in the film festivals in France and
elsewhere.
